In June and July of 2019, Mike completed a huge backyard drainage project for us. We live in a flood plain, and the entire neighborhood drains into our backyard. After every rain, a pond would form in our backyard and be there for several days (see first two pictures). One morning, we woke up after a rain and actually had ducks swimming in our backyard. We called several landscaping companies in the area and, after coming out and examining our yard, the response was that they couldn’t do it, we would need to talk to the city to get the drainage fixed.
When Mike came over, he immediately new how to fix the problem and he was excited to fix it. What I liked best about Mike is that he is passionate about landscaping. His passion is reflected in his dedication and the dedication and professionalism of his crew. They built a large drainage moat, several french drains, a massive dry well big enough to stand in, and installed an external sump pump so the storm water could be pumped directly into to city storm drain. We have had several large rains since, some where our street flooded, but our yard stayed dry. The last picture is our yard after a particularly heavy rain. This was a very large landscaping project and we are very glad we trusted Mike and Ware Landscaping to complete this job for us.
